Upon request to your sales representative, you can use our registration sources tracking functionality, which is used to follow conversions through UTM, among other things.

To do so, you need to add the wanted URL settings to your links.

For example: www.my-event.com/?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=cpc (you can generate your link by using tools like: https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder/)

The information passed in the URL will automatically be tracked by Digitevent and associated with the participant who is registering.

Then, from your back office > Contacts, open the participant's card to have access to the registration origin.

To access it, scroll to the bottom of the card to visualize the registration source:

Note that you can also filter your contacts according to this registration origin.

To do so, use the field : "Registration url query" in your segment condition.

In the General event settings tab > Export > New export > Export of contacts , you can export a column that corresponds to the participants' registration sources:

Notes:

Note that if the group registration module is activated on your event, when the participant adds his companion, he will not inherit the registration url tag of the main guest.

You will be able to match the main guests with their companions by doing a V-search in the export of contacts.

If you are not familiar with this type of formula, we can help you once the registrations are launched.
